We saw laughter, we saw Clinton’s dead-eyed despair, and we saw Trump’s bizarre interpretation of the abortion process. We also saw, in one particularly excruciating moment, Trump say the phrase “bad hombres” while referring to Mexican immigrants. It was a low point for all of us. One person who found the light in the situation, however, was Nicki Minaj. In a hilarious Instagram post shared yesterday (October 20), the “Anaconda” rapper slammed Donald Trump’s “clueless” behaviour. “Yo I’m cryin,” she wrote. “Like this man really said ‘bad hombres’ at a crucial debate while running for President of the USA!!!! And pronounced it as hambre like he hungry. Like I'm cracking up laughing so hard.” Minaj went on to compare the Republican nominee to Will Ferrell’s character in The Campaign (a 2012 comedy about two idiots running for president). “In the movie, the craziest shit they do, keeps inadvertently moving them up in the polls,” the rapper continued. “Donald is Will Ferrell in that movie y'all pls watch it if u haven't seen it (sic).” “It’s the clueless face that rlly has me laughing,” she added. “It's as tho he really doesn't know it's bad.” Although Minaj didn’t endorse Clinton in the post, she did go on to pledge her support for Michelle Obama; writing that the current FLOTUS should “absolutely run” for president in eight years.
