"Sometimes when I'm in a bad mood, I put on clothing that gives me power and I'm ready for war - because that's life, every day is a war. I wear my headband all the time, it's an ornament I love - it's a black, gold and pearl belt from a charity shop I changed to wear on my head. I wear no jewels - my headband is my ornament to give me power and protect me. Every day I wear a costume – my style is freaky. I make a dangerous mix of streetwear, cabaret and flea-market pieces. My music has no connection with my style, I'm really natural and wear the same clothing on and offstage. I put into Kap Bambino everything that's in my brain and sensibility…

I like glamour and 50s pin-ups because it's important to be a real woman. I don't have idols, but the amazing French punk band, 'Lu Crate Milk', from the early 80s is really inspiring to me. This band was so freaky punk - you can't describe their style, I hate it when you can describe a look because it's common. It's important for me to create a personal image with my music and the clothing I wear. Our music is different, intense and dance-floor, it's really violent and our performances are cathartic experiences. I connect with the audience over savage dance and everyone goes crazy, it's a release like therapy. Kap Bambino are a live band, we are all about performance - we are impulsive and spontaneous. I hate art school. I hate art gallery. I hate theatre. I hate comedians. I hate the normal code of stage and music – Kap Bambino is about creating something new. It's really dangerous to say this, but it's true. We want everyone to listen to us for the music, not for my face or my ass on stage."
