What has the response been towards your collection since graduating from the MA?
It's been great. I had lots of positive press and people are still calling in to say how much they liked everything.

Will you be continuing to design under your own name or are you be looking to join a fashion house / company?
Well, I just took on a job at Ann-Sofie Back for one season. After that I'll see what happens. I'd love to have my own label at some point, but i think it's better to get some serious work experience first.

How much difficulty are you finding succeeding as a designer in your own right now you have graduated?
It's definitely tough, especially here in London. I think I was really lucky to find a job that quick, cause after speaking to friends from the RCA and CSM, everyone is quite frustrated and desperate about the job situation at the moment. I guess it's the recession, I find it quite sad that such talented people have to lower their standards and expectations so much.

How was your experience at the RCA?
Oh I had a really good time at the RCA. Would love to do it all over again. It was very hard work, but I met such amazing people and it's exciting to see where everyone is heading off to now.

What is inspiring you at the moment?
Computer synthesised animation and music clips from the 70.

What are you plans for the rest of the year? Will you be doing another collection?
I'll be working full time at Ann-Sofie Back, so there's no personal collection coming up... unfortunately.
