What has the response been towards your collection since graduating from the MA?
I've been contacted by stylist and designers who want to shoot my shoes, I am working with them now to organize it. I also went to ITS in Italy to present my collection there and that was an amazing experience, I had really good feedback from press and some great ideas for starting up my own label that I'd not thought of myself.

Will you be continuing to design under your own name or are you be looking to join a fashion house / company?
I have been sending out CV's and I hope I can join a fashion house but I want to keep doing my own collections two and that's what I'm mainly focused on at the moment.

How much difficulty are you finding succeeding as a designer in your own right now you have graduated?
It's not easy that's for sure but I cant imagine doing anything else so I'll just have to keep working hard.

How was your experience at the RCA?
The RCA was fantastic, it really has helped me develop as a person and as a designer.

What is inspiring you at the moment?
The Ottoman empire, there was an exhibition at Tata Britain and I'm working on a sketchbook based on that at the moment.

What are you plans for the rest of the year? Will you be doing another collection?
I have already started sketching for my next collection and will be starting work on prototypes around October, November time. Otherwise I will keep planning my business and apply for funding and jobs.
