It's easy to apply music buzz words to Cassette Playa's collections seeing as often music and fashion are fused in Carri Munden's world. For S/S 10's "Power Drift Nation" collection, the words 'toxic' and ' hard tribal' are key. Munden's imagined urban racing transported to the desert or in her words, "dune gone dubstep." What this actually translates to is more signature digital prints on silk, lycra and jersey where Arabic graphics are rejigged and woven patches, rubber  and puff binder adds detailing beyond a printed shirt.

On the back of recent collaborations with Swatch, Nike and Stussy, Munden has also introduced a capsule line of womenswear to the Cassette Playa and CP lines meaning girls can get in on the hard tribal action too. The S/S 10 collection was presented in New York where these videos by Weirdcore were shot.

The luxury leather brand has crafted personal, relevant and utterly desirable pieces as commissioned by world-celebrated creatives such as the likes of Damien Hirst, Gustavo Santaolalla, and Anne Liebovitz. These pieces are up for auctioning with proceeds to charity, the Nigerian Red Cross Fighting Malnutrition Programme, at a special one-off event held by Sotheby's at their New Bond Street location.

The artist, Hirst has had a medical cabinet constructed from cowhide leather, a luggage piece has been made for Michelin-star chef Ferran Adrià, whilst musician Santaolalla who composed the soundtracks for Brokeback Mountain and Babel, has had a guitar case crafted from black cowhide leather and blue velvet.

Carianne Moore and design partner Mike Harding discovered their mutual love of all things Sci-Fi, natural sciences and the importance of craftsmanship back in 2006 and since then they have launched Carianne Moore, fusing millinery, handbags and jewellery. For S/S 10 Moore and Harding have conjured up unique pieces of jewellery that have been inspired by 1920s' science fiction and fictional stories of life beyond the stars. Using contrasting textures of 'Dragonscale' and printed stingray leather in colours like yellow, malachite green and bright blue, components are placed in strong geometric shapes to create heavyweight statement pieces. Extra care is taken on the finishing to combine traditional techniques and futuristic designs ensuring wearers will want to wear these pieces on their own imaginary lunar nights.

When asked whether Arielle de Pinto tires of her signature metal crochet techniques, she resolutely refutes this possibility. Looking at her S/S 10 collection you can see why as the delicate metal strands have become even more tangled up. Through experimentation she's using more precious metals and making sure that she leaves a unique mark on a technique that is increasingly being duplicated elsewhere.

To expand her growing collections, she has also started teaching her techniques to other people to quicken production. For spring summer, she collaborated with photographer and filmmaker Margaret V Haines and shot the lookbook images and these short videos together that capture the different characters that can wear de Pinto's jewellery.
