British | The McQ team sifted through hundreds of MySpace profiles in search of 35 young creatives to use for the brand's campaign. They were then called to McQ headquarters to select an outfit with which they were to create an image, video or installation. Alexander McQueen and his team then chose the final eight images to use for the Spring/Summer 07 campaign, which was used globally. The participants' work can be viewed online on the McQ site. McQ's use of the web as a source for new talent has proven to be an experimental yet successful project and the web gallery provides an exciting platform for young upcoming talent. |
