Dazed Digital: How has your sound changed over the course of the years in producing music?Sunship: I don't think it's changed much to be honest. If it has, I think it's not for the better. Frankly, I think the Analogue sound of the old mixing desks and Synths is much warmer, deeper and bassier than the Digital age of now. Maybe I'm just deaf after all these years.DD: Why do you work together so well?Sunship: Sunship musically, compositionally, and production wise is me - Ceri- Chunky is a very talented DJ, and James is very talented on the Technical side of things... DD: What are you working on at the moment?Sunship: I'm working on some forthcoming Sunship releases, after having just finished 5 remixes back to back!DD: What has, for you, been the most important or memorable point of your musical career so far?Sunship: Hearing John Coltrane/McCoy Tyner/Elvin Jones. DD: Who/what are you listening to right now?Sunship: Charlie Parker, Oliver Messaien and Morton Feldman to name but a few. DD: If in doubt play _____?Sunship: Almost any track by Zinc DD: What are you most looking forward to next?Sunship: That's too X-rated to print!
