MusicIncomingExclusive Numbers Mix for DazedJackmaster celebrates the snow, the new label and Glasgow’s takeover of FabricShareLink copied ✔️January 7, 2010MusicIncomingTextTerence Teh “You could start the article with this,” says Jackmaster. “Loads of fucking exclusives.” See below for proof. Jack sorted DD an exclusive Numbers mix celebrating the newly formed Voltron super label incorporating a troika of Glasgow’s finest. For the best part of the last decade Numbers has been the name of the formidable club night (from Modeselektor to Ghostface) hosted by hometown heros Stuffrecords, Dress 2 Sweat and Wireblock records (in turn run by Richard Chater, Jackmaster, Spencer and Nelson). And it makes sense in 2010 that wee Numbers focuses the labels together as one too. Design pals Remote Location serve up the blazing graphic aesthetic (bringings back laser etched, one-sided vinyl) whilst Numbers build on the collective back catalogues of all three labels, which includes seminal bangers from Rustie, The Village Orchestra, Ghosts On Tape, Hudson Mohawke (released with LuckyMe), Moves!!!, Offshore and Slugabed.2010 sees Numbers drop thizzed out club anthems Deadboy’s If U Want Me, the Lazer Sword Golden Handshake EP and Redinho’s Bare Blips. To make them feel more at home they’ve brought the snow and the Buckfast ahead of this Friday’s (8th January) massive takeover of Room 1 Fabric featuring live performances from both Rustie and Hud Mo and DJs Deadboy, Numbers residents and Todd ‘The God’ Edwards. The rest of the club ain’t too shabby either, with the launch of Fabric’s highly anticipated Elevator Music album featuring the new bass generation, from Untold to Hot City, Shortstuff and Joy Orbison.Numbers Dazed Mix by Jackmaster - Download here or stream below.Modeselektor - Art + Cash (SBTRKT Broke Remix) - forthcoming 50 WeaponsRhythm Construction Co. - Mighty Love (Wickedest Dub) - Nice 'N' RipeDeadboy - Here 4 U - forthcoming NumbersC.
