Liam Gallagher promotes his new clothing line in a Dazed Digital first access exclusive video.ShareLink copied ✔️June 4, 2009MusicIncomingTextMartina RandlesLiam's Pretty Green Spring, 1994 as I sat in an empty park playing truant from school, listening to Oasis on repeat on my walkman, little did I know I would one day get the opportunity to own my very own piece of Liam Gallagher clothing. The new range, Pretty Green, designed by Liam features, tees, jumpers and parkas, is inspired by the film Quadrophenia and the 'mod' movement in particular. The range went on sale to registered members this morning and due to the overload of people trying to access the site it crashed, reportedly in excess of 100,000 customers. Dazed have an exclusive first access to the video for the range, which also debuts Liam's solo track Mystery Man. You can also access a different edit on YouTube here.Below are some of our favourite Liam quotes from both videos. To coin Mr Gallagher himself... enjoy it you fuckers! On his first clothing love, the parka..."Right, the first Parka I ever got, me auntie worked at a sports centre and there was one left behind. It was a Yves Saint Laurent one, and it was yellow cord and she was sort of, like, call it robbed it if you want, but it was left behind so she baggsied it"."Every time you put one on you feel like you're fucking going to war or summat', they hide a lot of sins" On fashion trends..."I’m not into that skinny look, fucking get rid of that shit, those pointy shoes, that come at you like a snooker cue, got a license for them bastards or what"On his clothing range..."If you’re gonna' do it you've got to get involved, I’m going to be wearing it all. I'm doing it cause the things I want I can't really get." "Fucking tasty" "Classic parka, classic shoes, no mad gear, just really plain blacks, browns, nothing wild, not jean Paul Gautier, just cool" "I'm not doing it to make money, I'm doing it cause I’m into clothes... obviously you want the hardcore fans to be buying it" "It’s not shite, it's good... buy it you fuckers!"
