Casady and pianist Gael Rakotondrabe will be collaborating with artist Loris Greaud in a new interpretation of Greaud's Cellar Door libretto.Dazed Digital: What attracted you to the collaboration with Loris Greaud?Sierra Casady: I loved his exhibition at Palais de Tokyo. DD: What did you think when you first saw Loris Greaud's Cellar Door exhibition?SC: Christmas time is upside down.DD: How did you first meet Loris Greaud?SC: Under a tree that the lighting was hitting. DD: How would you compare Cocorosie's music and what Greaud does?SC: We love holidays. DD: How did you go about trying to interpret Greaud's work musically?SC: It sparked a new view into classical music. DD: How will this performance differ from your CocoRosie shows? SC: I will be without my sister's physical presence. But with her poetic and mythical contribution. DD: Greaud works alongside scientists, geo-biologists, and engineers. Do these disciplines interest you?SC: Not so much. I'm a school dropper.DD: Which other contemporary artists do you admire at the moment?SC: I love Kembra Pfahler. She's a hot surfer babe. DD: What do you like to do when you're in london?SC: I like to drink tea in the high grass of a Hyde Park. And the trampoline bungy-jumping ride in the Mall at Leicester Square. DD: What else have you got planned this year? Any more collaborations?SC: Gaspard Yurkievich made my dress for the London show. We are going to be making a movie with a director called Emma Freeman.
