Brighton

Raisa: None of our Brighton gigs have ever gone well! Traffic was a nightmare! Hours of traveling.  Small audience but they all wanted to be there which is the amazing bit!…shame we only got to play for a short while.  Home made pasta was delicious.

Marc: Think there’s a curse with Brighton. When Esser headlined they ran really late, didn’t get a soundcheck and their set was cut short. Same with us, although the crowd, although small, was akin to a classical music concert audience. The 24 hour shop ‘Easy Hours’ was a godsend.

Micachu: You know your doing well when someone defaces your terrible tour poster by blessing your face with a badly drawn cock.
The audience in Paradox were very attentive, in fact the experience was near to a classical music lunchtime concert. This was nice but different - it was very quiet.
Unfortunately we missed Robot Deniro but we caught Heels Catch Fire who were very impressive.  Thanks to Olly for the photos and Leroy the sound man

Edinburgh
Micachu: We showed up and got pasta and lots of wine I had a whisky to. Gig was fun. Lovely place. Felt like a hotel. Lots of bananas glitchy electro acts. Everything looks like war hammer. We saw some war hammer in the Games workshop.

Marc: Wow! Good to be this side of the border for the first time in my life. Tasty burger, warm atmosphere and pretty venue. Sound was clear, which made it easier to play an honest set. Safe to Scott and Tim who were definitely enjoying themselves!

Raisa: One of the most beautiful place I’ve seen in Britain. We were treated like kings and queens and people were so friendly…no nonsense chat…just good conversation and amazing wine and amazing dinner and amazing sound on stage and really fun time on stage…and afterwards we all had a wonderful night in Edinburgh.

Glasgow
Micachu: Nice to play with some London bands, Dels and We Have Band, but the first band on, a local band, had a really interesting sound (sorry I’ve forgotten what you were called!). Went to a nice Chinese and had a drink. Think they got a little angry that we didn’t actually eat any food, we just talked a lot about it!
Raisa: We got to play with Dels and We Have Band and Vendor Defender who are fantastic artists. Gig was so so fun.
Marc: We have Band and Dels smashed it! We really enjoyed the first band Vendor defender they were really safe people to. Love to all. Thanks to any members of the audience who weren’t made up of these bands mentioned!

Barrow-In-Furness, The Canteen
Marc: What a place, never been anywhere like that in my life. Such character and soul. Intriguing and well-presented art installations (Spam!). Sound was amazing! Played a bit drunk but kept it tight (well everyone else seemed to think so, anyway). Pleased that the DJ played ‘Eastern Jam’ by Chasus and Status. After that I danced around like an idiot for ages. So much space to move…! Hope we go there again.

Raisa: Was like an art gallery setup with a dark room for films watching, and lots of photography and art, a 40ft wall of grafitti got filled up by artists as the night went on, and four music acts.  The first act Good Noise Bad Noise were amazing, they delivered live electronics and totally live visuals and they blew my mind.  We decided that we want to do that too and drink tea! Then we stayed in a beautiful farmhouse and the next day I made friends with some cows.

Micachu: Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow this was the weirdest event ever! The line up was great. My fav was the opener Good Noise Bad Noise, peaceful. Meanwhile there was lots of art happening, grafitti art and photography. Got very drunk whilst watching a Mogwai documentary. then was cooked full English by Snady and Alf at this farm place. Weird!
