As part of the collaboration and to celebrate London Fashion Week, a limited run version of the magazine featuring cover star Tilda Swinton in an alternative outfit is available only at Selfridges from February 12. Accompanying the release of the magazine will be a special installation at the Oxford St branch of Selfridges by stylist Panos Yiapanis, and a full digital version of the new issue will available for two weeks through the Selfridges website .In homage to British fashion, this special issue of AnOther Magazine features actress Tilda Swinton as cover girl modeling some of Britain’s finest new fashion talent, including dresses by Peter Pilotto, Louise Goldin, Craig Lawrence and Mary Katrantzou, made solely for the issue. As the first British actress to ever appear on the cover of the magazine, Swinton can be seen not once but twice: wearing a cascading pink silk ribbon dress for the limited edition cover and a darkly sensual Mark Fast dress for the regular cover. An epic interview featuring Tilda and over 35 of her contemporaries from Patti Smith to Viktor & Rolf by Jefferson Hack accompanies the piece. Swinton will also occupy the windows at Selfridges Oxford St, and her life size cut out image will be proliferated throughout the store.Copies of the magazine featuring the distinctive alternative cover will be available for purchase from Selfridges stores from the 12th of February, a week prior the regular magazine being available for general sale on the 19th.
