For its final show, The Dazed Gallery is handing over the reigns to BARE BONES – a genuinely exciting new art quarterly helmed by artist, illustrator and agent provocateur Harry Malt, and various members of the groundbreaking Le Gun collective. “This is a modern day Jack London loitering about in the rough heat of the self-promotional art ego wasteland,” assert the credit-crunch defying artists in their red top-baiting manifesto. “Dismiss it at your peril!” Presented in newspaper format and featuring diverse work by the likes of involved Chris Bianchi, Steph von Reiswitz and Alex Wright, BARE BONES promises to be one of the most irreverent, subversive and politically skewed zines available. We figured we should let them take over the walls of the gallery to help them stick it to The Man and kickstart the whole shebang. The scaffold on which were are hung, temporarily it supports us but will inevitably crumble like old bones and end up a pile of spidery dust.

Dismiss it at your peril, remain your own worst enemy, snatch up a London-Metro-Lite-Paper and shuffle on. By answering only to ourselves and supporting each other we are our own best friends and future.
