Von or HelloVon as he is known under his design studio/artist alias (regularly featured in Dazed) closes 2008 with an impressive string of must see London exhibitions. His delicate and seductive hand drawn vs. digital art features in the “If You Could” final show at Kemistry Gallery (opening on the 1st December) and the “12 Days of Christmas” exhibition for the charity Shelter (for one night only on 2nd December, curated by Studio8 Design and featuring exclusive prints and postcards from Von, Si Scott, Sofia Augusta and more). Later this week Von also exhibits at the Stolen Space gallery Christmas show on 4th Thursday and then over in Los Angeles for the Cerasoli-LeBasse Christmas show on the 12th December.

Von runs down his personal highlights of 2008 for us.

- The completion of my “Migration” exhibition. A flock of abstracted birds was first installed on the Truman Brewery, London in late August. In September the birds reappeared in New York flocking towards the billboard on the side of the Espeis Gallery in Williamsburg - the project inheriting the migrational nature of its content.

- Creative Review releasing a Monograph in September showcasing a selection of drawings from my ongoing “Animal” series.

- Appearing on Silenci? (I’m told it is Barcelona’s answer to The Culture Show) as part of the promo surrounding WIWP’s (Wear It With Pride) excellent “Now Showing” exhibition.

- A week of four-hour-long dinners with all kinds of alcohol and my girlfriend’s Aunt’s God-like cooking by a pool in the South of France.

- Getting my first book cover published.

- 2009 is looking really exciting, so far the highlights being two large solo shows due for Summer 09 in both London and LA.
