Budding photographers and stylists will get the chance to show off their skills to win the chance to to be Matt's assistant on a major shoot. Matt Irwin has worked with V Magazine, L'Uomo Vogue, UNIQLO as well as of course being Dazed's staff photographer. To enter, add theprintspace as a friend on MySpace and then submit a photostory that interprets the "DIY Fashion" brief with up to five images to competition@metavisual.net

Ten winners shortlisted will be featured on Theprintspace's blog Metavisual and also in the fashion press and after the closing date, one will be selected to be Matt's assistant to experience what it is really like to be on a fashion shoot. Entries have already started coming in with styles being widely diverse. Jonnie Chambers infuses pastel colours and retro stylings into his shoot. Hayley Brown's photostory entitled "She Ain't Heavy, She's My Brother" explores 1920s' androgyny.

The closing deadline for submission is 30th October.
